about
YOLO (You Only Love Once) marks Lysick‘s debut into the rap game. While Drake and Rick Ross prepare their own version (You Only Live Once), Lysick took his own stance at the acronym. From the experience of others and his own, he quickly made a statement that fits the acronym, and realized that many only love once. Originally scheduled to be a mixtape, the free album draws inspiration from the lyricist‘s past relationships or simply from the topic of love itself. Don’t let the title fool you, there is nothing cheesy about this body of work; Many will be surprised or shocked at the outcome and the twist the album takes. It is not an ordinary, common, or regular journey through love. What could it be? Only one way to find out.
